Making EGC more fair and sensible

So, before you jump to any conclusions, let me just throw this out there: I'm not asking for a nerf of any kind. I play both sides, but prefer survivor. This suggestion is more killer sided than anything, but I think fair.

I'll get right to the point.

I think EGC should be changed under these very specific conditions.

If all survivors are in or close to an open Exit Gate, and:

  • Nobody is in a chase
  • Nobody is on hook
  • Nobody is slugged on the ground

I feel like the EGC timer should speed up somewhere between 3 to 5 times faster.

At this point, I think it's pretty clear that the survivors "won" and they just want to sit in the exit gate and waste the killer's time. The killer just wants to move on to the next match. So I think the EGC timer should go faster under this situation.

Additionally, another idea I have regarding the "very edge" of the Exit Gate area, where survivors are a literal inch from "escaping". Add a grab mechanic. I think it would be a bit more fair to the killer, especially if survivors want to just sit in the gate and rub it in the killer's face that they "won".

And let me remind you, I do consider myself to be a Survivor main - And yet, I would gladly welcome this change. I almost never sit in the exit gate, I prefer to just leave and move on. I would welcome this change with open arms.

We should seriously cut down on the toxicity in this game, and try to have a fun enjoyable time for both sides.

i have about 2k hours as survivor.

I don't think survivors should be able to fall to safety just because the gate is open. In fact, It would be pretty cool to have the killer grab me by the ankle as i'm trying to crawl out.

Injured or survivors entering the dying state inside the exit gate should take an extra second or 2 to start crawling. During this time if the legs of a survivor were still in the trial, they could be pulled back. There's no stand off, no hostage situation and its easily countered by getting the hell out of dodge.

Yeah, I could get behind that as well. I mean, it's easily countered simply by leaving instead of sitting to tbag or gloating about their win.
