BP Offering Rework Idea
So basically, I think there's just too many different Bloodpoint offerings in the game that does little to nothing to actually feel impactful.. so I decided to have a go at a possible rework.
Right now, there's 15 different BP offerings for either side. 3 different strengths for each BP category (12 in total), a 25% in everything for yourself, a 100% in everything for yourself and a 100% in everything for everyone. I've excluded event BP offerings.
How many people here burn brown/yellow category BP offerings when you could burn a Envelope / Shell and get BP in all categories for a better net gain (its easier to fill each category to 25% than a single category to 50%).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's what I suggest; There's now 10 different BP offerings for either side. One for each rarity tier, which are Common / Uncommon / Rare / Very Rare / Ultra Rare.
25 / 50 / 75 / 100% / 150% to everything for yourself.
25 / 50 / 75 / 100% / 150% to everything for everyone.
Nice. Clean. Simple. Easy to understand.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why do I think this is a good idea? Several things.
The first would be that the Bloodweb would end up being less cluttered by stuff that has little to no net value. The brown BP offerings can max grant 4k BP and they cost 3k to buy.. which is laughably bad. Now a brown BP offering would grant 8k at most which is a 100% increase in value. The second thing would be that people like getting BP and having more offerings that give more BP to everyone would maybe.. make the game a little better? Feel less like a grind? Or something.
But yeah, that's it. Feel free to leave a comment and provide some feedback or critique or whatever.
EDIT: Added an Ultra tier variant of each offering as well, increasing the BP offerings to 10 on either side.

Forgot that survivors also have the "Bound Envelope" offering which brings it up to 16 BP offerings for survivors and 15 for Killer. Doesn't change the point of my rework, though!

Your suggestion is too much work without any other, potential, future benefit. Bloodpoint offerings should only appear in Mystery boxes, and one Mystery Box should be given to the player each time after completing a bloodweb.
P.S. it would be fun to bring back the "moderately" and "slightly" map offerings in the same fashion.

Are you sure its too much work? You can re-use a lot of the icons that each offering have and then its just the matter of fiddling a tiny bit with the values that shouldn't be more than copy-pasting the code from one offering to another, a changing its value. I don't see why it'd be a big thing.
You'd clutter the Bloodpoint web something bad if you brought back those map offerings, not to mention how weak-sauce they were. Barely did an impact.

yes, but what are the devs going to do with the extra add-ons that aren't repurposed? They tend to not like to retire offerings except for very impactful reasons.
And anyway, how would returning the map offerings as mystery-box exclusives but not letting them spawn otherwise on the bloodweb cause bloodweb-related clutter? [insert confused meme]

Shouldn't be that hard to give people the corresponding amount of new offerings for every old offering being retired.
Having more stuff with little value would increase clutter. Filling Mystery Boxes with random stuff that can only be obtained from them could.. maybe, clean up the bloodweb a bit but trying to get good stuff from them would be even harder as they're filled to the brim with all sort of stuff.

I've added Ultra Rare variants of the BP offerings as well, increasing the amount from 8 to 10. Its still far less than the base game's 15/16.. and much more valuable.

I mean, I'd be for it. I'm more for removing the currently terrible offering system from the game, but I'd take this rather than nothing.

I burn yellow BP offerings. I would burn brown as well but normally I don't play one character often enough to waste all of the items/offerings before I prestige. And I always prestige when I reach the BP cap, because I get new and better items for that. So not the brown BP offerings to blame here.
Just as a side note: easy to understand is not really a pro for your suggestion. I think the BP offerings are not hard to understand at all :P

I think it is easier to understand when you say "bonus bloodpoints in everything" instead of "bonus bloodpoints in a single bloodpoint category". That's just me. Its an easier concept to understand that you get more bloodpoints overall than only if you do something specific.

Don't agree, that isn't "complex" for me just because it applies to one category rather than all. You see the amount of BP per category pretty precisely, and named as well. Not sure if it is a good example but "head left" or "head right" is also no difference in complexity or harder to understand, although the right path might be more difficult. The instruction is pretty straight forward

I fail to understand how "everything" is harder to understand than "this one thing" in this scenario.

vice versa XD
Is this really such a complex thing to read? What I mean is, I cannot imagine that there is a single individual that says "gain extra BP in all categories was easy to understand, but I didn't get what they mean with a single category" or even without comparison, I cannot imagine people asking what the yellow BP offering is supposed to do. This is both easily understandable!

Still not getting it. Nevermind, though. Thanks for your feedback and comments.

It'd be interesting to see how'd the game would function if Offerings was disabled for a week or two.
I don't think it'd be an improvement, however.
