Pyramid Head attack speed

Did this character get a buff at all since release or have people just got that much better with him? I dunno it just seems almost undodgeable now to the point where pallets are useless, even if you throw it down early. I can dodge huntress attacks around loops but there just doesn't seem to be a way to dodge that pyramid head attack any more unless your right on the edge of it.
