Wraith Rework Idea

Wraith is currently the least powerful, easiest to loop killer in the game and has been since Freddy's 3.1 rework. These are a couple changes I thought might make him more of a threat :)

POWER

Instead of having to actively cloak/uncloak he uncloaks after attacking and passively cloaks again over a couple seconds while outside of chase. To compensate, cloak no longer increases movement speed. Wailing Bell's new functionality is to disorient survivors and reduce their directional control (note: this does not cause them to turn in a random direction it just makes them run more straight). Severity and duration decrease with distance. Wraith still slows down while using the bell, making it a high skill cap ability which relies on an understanding of how loops are ran to time it correctly.

ADD-ON CHANGE EXAMPLES

"The Serpent" - Soot: Wraith no longer makes a wooosh noise upon cloaking

"Blind Warrior" - Mud: Hitting a survivor under the effect of Wailing Bell applies Blindness.

"Windstorm" - White: Considerably increases Wailing Bell's channel speed.

"Swift Hunt" - Blood: Considerably increases the duration of Wailing Bell's effect.

Coxcombed Clapper: In addition to reducing survivors' ability to turn, Wailing Bell now clouds the vision of survivors in a thick fog. Severity and duration decrease with distance.

PERKS

Shadowborn: Don't touch it

Predator: Scratch marks left by survivors will spawn moderately/considerably/tremendously closer together. Survivors walking through bushes and tall grass now leave scratch marks.

Bloodhound: Blood stains are tremendously more discernible than normal and can be tracked for 3/4/5 seconds longer than normal.

He doesn't need a power rework, my guy, he just needs a hefty buff.

I think you're missing the point of Wraith... he has great map pressure due to his cloak, and taking away his speed while he's cloaked would be a HUGE nerf.

He's perfectly fine in chases, anyway. He can easily block windows and pallets while cloaked, and gets a massive speed boost after uncloaking which helps him bean unwary Survivors or catch Survivors at loops with ease.

to buff wraith the only thing that i can see its having less noise while cloak or increase speed while cloak.

wraith its a wierd killer i dont know how they could buff him.

Been working on this for a while...

    WRAITH

Fun at low ranks, but his lack of chase power makes him one of the weaker killers in the game.

    Buff his chase power:

    • Make uncloaking speed 2.5s.
    • Increase the duration of the speed boost after uncloaking to 1.5s.
    • Increase Breaking, Damaging, Opening, and Vaulting Action speeds by 20% while cloaked, and make this effect last for 5s after uncloaking. Debuff the Shadow Dance add-ons accordingly.
    • Make Bone Clapper basekit.

    Rework some add-ons:

    • All Seeing - Spirit is weaker than the Blood version, just make it an 18m version of Blood.
    • Change the Clapper add-ons to reduce his visible range by 50% and 100% respectively.
    • Buff Swift Hunt add-ons to 10, 15, and 20% uncloaking speed increases.
