Heal Bug

Earlier I was attempting to heal another survivor by the exit gate to attempt a late game rescue, and the game let me get to 99% but wouldn't let me finish the heal. I tried numerous time after 99ing the heal to restart it and nothing. Sadly this resulted in the death of the survivor I was trying to heal (nothing I could really do but still felt bad lol)

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

(PS) this was my first time playing on servers other than NA east as I was playing with a friend, and my ping was about double what it normally is, but I wouldn't think that would cause something quite like this lol.
