Hex: Ruin Doesn't Spawn At All - But Still Works

Hey team
Im on PC - Steam.
Had Hex: Ruin on my Pyramid Head build with Surveillance, Pop, and Infectious.
Played a match on Gideon and ruin was immediately greyed out in my perk list in the bottom corner and a lit totem never spawned on the map, however i got the effect of Ruin the entire match.
