Even without the basic attack requirement, the Knock Out buff didn't do anything
I feel like everyone is talking about the basic attack requirement for Knock Out, and with good reason. However, even if the requirement was removed down the line, I still feel like they didn't buff anything substantial about the perk.
Let's take the 15 seconds of crawling slower. It sounds nice in theory, but this change fails to take into account what survivors do when they are downed. Survivors usually start recovering first and then they start crawling. That means that by the time they fully recover, the crawling debuff will have ended. Even if they do start crawling straight away it's only for 15 seconds, so unless they have to crawl to a pallet within those seconds the effect is useless. I believe that the crawling debuff should be permanent for as long as you are on the ground, that way the perk serves a purpose of making sure slugged survivors don't spread out too fast.
The 15 seconds of blindness also have the same problem as the previous point, with survivors preferring to recover instead of crawling to their teammates. I feel like this should be longer in order for it to have any tangible effect. I say 30 seconds would be a good amount of time.
All in all, I feel like the devs should make the following changes to Knock Out in order to make it a more appealing perk:
Remove the basic attack requirement (don't even know why they did it in the first place).
Make the crawling debuff permanent for as long as you are on the ground.
Increase the blindness duration, maybe to 30 seconds.

Maybe the permanent slowdown is a bit much (maybe make it for 60 seconds at t3), but I do agree that the perk as it is now is worse than what it was before.
