Can the struggle action please be a "hold" prompt

Mashing the button isnt always the easiest for people and mostly annoying if im being honest. Just holding the button would be enough and wouldnt take away from the games feel or anything.

I believe they said they want to change it to skill checks like pyramid head cages.

i rather deal with skill checs, because at least theres a challenge and it doesn't give you cramps, because when i do play survivor. that is the most annoying part. never playing against certain killers. because i'm not a dickwad

Anything other than the current system would be good, this one makes my wrist hurt very badly. I switched it to the mouse wheel, which is certainly better, but it's still not fun.

I'd actually rather they kept button mashing then skill checks. Ideally they should make it so you don't have to do anything at all. Their sentiment that they want people to feel "involved" in the "struggle against the entity" is stupid. Doing skill checks or mashing buttons isn't involvement. Trivial tasks aren't involvement.

Would not be surprised at all if the people at the dev team who think making someone do menial tasks on struggle didn't have any significant amount of playtime. It serves no purpose. It's just annoying. I've had it automated with a macro for around 3 years now and the thought of going back to having to do something on the hook is terrible. Having to engage with the game in a menial way gets boring after the 10th time you've been in the struggle phase, I couldn't fathom having to do it over and over again.

If they make it like pyramid cages I might not even bother hitting the skill checks at all because you don't lose that much time anyways and I can't be bothered.
