extra bloodpoints randomly (ps4)

So periodically, I will be searching through the archives not selecting any challenges or cashing any in. After I leave the archives I suddenly have an extra 20,000 bloodpoints.
Not sure how to reproduce this. This has happened with multiple killers. This has only happened on the killer side. I often look through multiple Tombs and multiple chapters including the rift. I don't particularly notice it until I leave the archives. My focus is often in the Tombs themselves and not on my blood points.
This has happened about 4 times in the last week. I've only noticed this after the last update. It's happened with the Oni, The Doctor, The Shape, and The Nurse.
