Lobby connection issues

I am having trouble connecting to lobbies on PC. It's about a 50/50 chance that I actually connect to a lobby. This happens as survivor or killer. Sometimes I get lucky and connect to a few matches in a row. Other times I am unlucky and cannot connect to a lobby for 4 or 5 times.

This has been happening since I started playing about three weeks ago. I have no other problems connecting to other games.

    I should note that what I mean is that I will enter the loading screen when connecting to a match. The loading screen lasts about a minute before I'm taken back to the main menu with the error "You have been disconnected from the host."

    This makes it basically impossible for me to play swf because everybody else will connect to the lobby but then have to wait for me to fail to connect, so they leave the match and we just queue for another game. I may or may not connect to the next match.
