Survivor vault another survivor instead of window

On PC, I (Cheryl) tried to heal a Kate. At the same time, she pointed, so I did not start healing her, though it showed the progress bar for healing. I started spamming space bar to slow-vault the window I was by, and my character sort of rubber banded around trying to start the vault animation. Then the Kate started self-caring, and I put a hand on Kate's back and vaulted over her, staying in the same room. After that, my movement was a little rubber-bandy until I performed another action.
