Survivor infinite speed without sprintburst bug: Xbox

While playing for fun in a custom match me and my friends found this weird glitch/bug. After wiggling off my friend had a speed boost indefinitely. It was as if he had a never ending sprintburst. He didnt bring sprintburst btw.
Crouching didn't stop his speed. Touching a generator seemed to make him even faster. He could outrun bloodlust 3 as well as a chainsaw sprint from bubba so it must have been at least 150% like sprintburst.
Eventually after several minutes my friend fell of a hill and his speed went away. It may have had something to do with the falling animation.
The map was Coaltower I believe. Here is a screenshot showing our perks as well as a video with said bug taking place.
The cheyrl was the purple rank.
