Matchmaking
So far i have not escaped nlt 1 time im in with rank 1 killers when i am a killer im in with rank 12 4 or whatever they were heres my delimma ive been playing over 1600 hours and can not rank up because they are so much better they communicate. And even with moris i am stumped even with glod perks rank does matter i play solo no groupsl please put 16s with 16s 1s with 1s and so fortth i am about readh to quit .sorry but whats the usd if i cannot rank up .... Right....??????

Ranks doesn't matter for matchmaking so it doesn't matter if you rank up now. It's 100% cosmetic aside from killer adept achievements and the rank 1/5/10 achievements for killer and survivor.
Also MMR hasn't settled yet. If you're getting wrecked now the game will factor that in and will match you against weaker teams in the future.

The matchmaking is broken lmao. If after 100 games of getting stomped and continuing to be stomped by the same ranks, that's indicative of a matchmaking problem. Unless, of course, the baseline hasn't been established because the developers didn't think far enough ahead before implementing the new MMR system.

You don't know the MMR of the people who are stomping you; ranks don't matter. Could they have run this in the background for a while to let it learn before going live? Sure, they could have. It's really not a big deal, though. Just play a few matches and it should start getting better. Is it possible their algorithm isn't great? Sure, but we wouldn't know that after two days so people should withhold judgment for a bit on that.
I've only played one killer match on the new system because my mouse's right click is failing, so playing killer will be a rage fest until my new mouse gets here. As survivor, though, I've been matched with consistently good teammates after the first few matches. That has not been the case since I got the game. In the past I'd get matched with red ranks, sure, but half of those players were potatoes who just played a lot. Tonight I just rattled off several games in a row where my teammates didn't make idiotic mistakes and actually made a few great plays. I had more fun in solo queue tonight than I have ever had in solo queue.

Been testing this for 5 hours. The better I do as survivor, the noobier the killer is. Have escaped every match for the last... 5 hours. Now I am getting rank 20's who have 1 perk because they have played less than 24 hours total (confirmed in after game chat) I have 402 hours. Rank 2.
Did they do the algorithm backwards? The better I do, the easier the matches become? I'm confused.
All these new players are getting frustrated because their first few matches they are being thrown in with experienced players and literally are getting the floor swept with them.
This cannot be the correct intentions of the new matchmaking...
