4 Recommendations to improve matchmaking, rank progress, and blood point rewards

Ever since the new patch, finding a match has become faster = GREAT, keep it up.

HOWEVER, 4 things that Recommended to be fixed ever since the new update.


(I am a red rank survivor)


1.Balance blood points with performance? or show your math why a players rank is not progressing

I understand obtaining many blood points doesn't means a player is playing well. But I have play several matches and there are one time I earned over 30,000 blood points(End screen showed the player's name) (WITHOUT any add-on/skills/others). With 30,000 blood points, I was expecting at least a +1 rank, but the actual progress showed that progress was right in the middle.

ALSO, sometime when I feel like I played really well, and i lose rank progress -1... ?????


2 Consider adding "SNEAK" points, reward survivors within <8 meter of terror radius and not found.

Sometime a sneaky player can confuse the killer and buys time for the teammates and not waste pallets, however, the system doesn't calculate that. Instead, the current system encourage everyone to be a good runner. I think DbD should reward these kind of players that are sneaky around generators/hooked survivors and makes the killer runs around looking for these sneaky players.


3. Match with Rank 20 killers should be avoided

Although rank 20 killer doesn't mean such killer is bad. HOWEVER, there are many times 4 red/purple ranks players rank with brown rank killer. While I was chased by the killer, I could tell the way the killer move and act is indeed a new killer.


4. Should reward reasonable blood point even ranking with weaker killer.

Similar as point 3, when a killer couldn't even find survivors or could only get 1 hit, and all the generators are fixed so quickly, then the "HEX:no one escape death" kicks in, and then all survivors tried to save the one knockdowned and ended up being knocked-down or forced to escape. The poor survivors then immediately die and lose rank and rewarded low blood points.
