Simple but amazing change to Vigil
You recover from Exhaustion while running 80/75/70% slower.
You look over your friends even in dire situations.
You and your Allies within a range of 8 metres recover from Hemorrhage, Mangled, Hindered, and Blindness Status Effects 10/15/20% faster.
Once out of range, this effect persists for 15 seconds.
Its the same thing. but now you can recover from exhaustion while running. Maybe tweak how slow it happens, but this is actually a huge change for confident survivors that can use exhaustion perks multiple times in a chase, something like that.

Good change, but I also think vigil needs an update to recovery from oblivious, exposed and madness status effect, but only if they're on timers

No, that would be insanely overpowered. Back in the old days of dbd, you were able to recover while running by default, and everyone would use vigil to abuse it and use sprint burst twice in a chase. Vigil is fine as it is.

That's the point. We need more viable perks for both sides. Besides if you're gonna use vigil you will also need to use an exhaustation perk, which is 2 slots covered. So that means less meta perks used by survivors. Fine for me.

Survivors have MORE than enough viable perks on both sides, they just don't know they exist (detective's hunch, tenacity, repressed alliance, diversion, calm spirit, etc.) Besides, even using 2 perks to have that effect is very broken, and many veteran players like myself know why running and recovering from exhaustion was broken.

Its broken because only the best loopers will get use? No it literally says 70% slower and you still dont want it. It was only broken back in the day because it was still 40 seconds of exhaustion and you could recover while running. Vigil is a highly mediocre perk with very little strength it needs a buff.

Yeah I know, I just thought it would be a cool to bring it back. Plus, back in the old days you recovered at 100% of the normal recovery speed while running. This gives more than half the speed to recover. Its like self care, but for exhaustion. it rewards experienced players for staying in a chase for a long time. Also, it's just a quality of life perk. since its not by default, it takes a perk slot.

Back in the day, you actually recovered from Exhaustion while running and it made it impossible to catch survivors who were using Sprint Burst, because they'd constantly (at random) sprint off into the distance. It should NEVER come back.

I understand this, but since you recover 80-70% slower, I think this is balanced because it still takes a long time, its just a quality of life perk that rewards good players for staying in a chase for a long time.

You could make it so that positive effects last a bit longer if you got Vigil instead. So negative effects last shorter and positive ones last longer. Imagine if you had an extra 0.5 seconds of Sprint Burst. Or that Dead Hard i-frames last just a tiny bit longer. It'd be strong.

That is a very interesting idea for a rework too, I like that.

I like the concept of a perk that gives additive benefits to another perk. So it essentially takes 2 slots for the desired, stronger effect. I guess there are already some typical good combinations in the game, ie. unbreakable w tenacitcy, etc

Pretty much, yeah. There are a lot of perks that become stronger together with another one.
