Give killers more control over lockers!

I think a great addition to the core gameplay around lockers would be to let Killers choose whether to pick up or down survivors that are found in lockers.

The rundown would be like this:

  1. Killer finds survivor in locker
  2. Killer enters a staring competition with survivor while the player chooses what to do.
  3. Killer can either M1 to down the survivor or press Space to pick them up.

This could greatly counter DS survivors running into lockers to force the addon activating.

This could also buff Save the best for last so killers can gain free stacks.

Hide at your own demise.

    As they should be, suvivors can't win games by hiding all game.

    This isn't any type of "locker control". You basically want to avoid DS so you can tunnel people who go into lockers, without consequence. Yet, you want lockers to be useless(as per your reply above). You need to git gud, as the saying goes. No disrespect, but you don't know how to properly play killer. There's much worse than DS to be weary of when versing survivors at any rank.

    How to counter DS 101:

    -Don't tunnel. If you have to hook return, go for the other player. Feel free to slug the farmed player.

    -Don't locker grab recently unhooked survivors. If they duck into a locker, go pressure gens. Waiting is stupid and the odds are high if you wait you're gonna catch a headon.

    -Pick up the survivor next to a ledge. If they DS you, they'll fall and unless they have BL, they are going to stagger and be easy to down. More points for you.

    -Bait it yourself. Intentionally tunnel someone you think has DS. Oh well you got stunned. The perk is now wasted.

    -Run Deerstalker and have a stop watch handy, or use your phone's clock's stopwatch. I used to do this a couple of years ago.


    Borrowed Time is honestly harder to play around than DS is. Killer's are just tunnel happy and greedy, then cry about getting gen rushed when they dont pressure gens. Meanwhile, match making has made playing killer a joke. I have to meme in most games to earn any points, since everyone i'm facing typically has 1/200 my time played.

    Instead, just deactivate DS when you perform specific actions. You just saved about 500h+ of coding for an option that would have been broken from the get go with what you suggested, since it seems you'd want some sort of "make a choice" sequence. It would also be too much coding when you could just remove the locker tech associated with DS. Due to your post count, i assume you're a new player. This entire game is layered spaghetti code. I couldn't imagine what would break if they coded this.

    Also, if players weren't toxic we wouldn't need things like DS. But since the majority of players play a specific way(ie: Camping with Hag), we have to have 2nd chance perks. Else the game would just die because the majority of the pbase would quit due to one sided games and having no way to turn the tide of a game if it snowballs hard. Camping, slugging and tunneling is a strat. So is looping, genrushing and stun baiting. There are perks to counter all of them.

    What? Since when a survivor can win by hiding in a locker? If you mean by DS, thats... just one thing that have a lot of counterplay.
