Mothers Dwelling- Beggining match cutscene

When a friend of mine was trying to play a match, the loading screen took alot of time, then when the screen panned around the character to show the character and around them, it got stuck infront of the character and paused comepletely. I dont know if the game crashed or if its a bug. He was playing David King running No Mither and Dead Hard on the map Mothers Dwelling, Red forest. I have no idea how common this issue is.
