Well This seems fun.

There should be two lobbies like in any other game that aims towards being competitive - casual lobby and then ranked lobby, that is it. Then you tweak things from that baseline. It is not that hard. You keep both casual and more competitive players happy

People don't need to be better than him to critique his play. He clearly did not play well and he was playing against a great team. For example, he seriously hurt himself by swinging and missing on that Dwight in the open like a minute and a half in and letting him get to the pallet. The guy was out to sea and he just got impatient.
You just can't get your first down after all five gens are done and then complain about the game being unbalanced. The gen rush is strong at the beginning because the killer has to chase one while three work on gens. If you aren't hooking people, that balance will keep up for the entire game. You also won't get to use your Pop or Dying Light, so he basically had two entirely dead perk slots this match. You need to get someone on the hook to force someone off of their gen to go for the save while you chase a third survivor.
Would he have won this match if he was able to get someone on the hook early? Probably not, but especially with Pop you can definitely make a comeback.

This wasn't your comment, but all of the people saying Nurse shouldn't have been nerfed because she's the only one viable against teams like this are missing the point. Let's say killer really is at a huge disadvantage. The way to solve this isn't to make one or two killers extremely strong. The way to solve this is to make the gap between the worst and best killer as low as you possibly can and to buff killer in general. That's why nerfing extremely strong killers like Nurse is a good thing for balance, even if you feel survivors are too strong. The game should be balanced such that as many killers as possible are viable against good teams, and the killer roster needs to be more consistent in terms of strength before that can happen.

Rank 1 does NOT mean you are good. It CAN mean you are a good player it can also mean you are a boosted play and it can mean you are a bad player. I have good examples who play with me frequently who are Rank 1 but dont even know how to loop the killer, look behind, dont know more then 20% of the perks etc. Yes, beginners can be rank 1. There are friends who barly have more then 50 hours in DbD and are rank 1. I became rank 1 when i had no idea what BBQ is. I repeat, rank 1 is not an indicator of skill.
And better then 96% of the playerbase? First, show me these statistics please and second, probably most people who buy this game (like in every game) just play a few rounds and then let it go. A dedicated playerbase compared to the overall playerbase might be indeed 90 to 10%.
And those comparisons with CS GO LOL etc are laughable, just because it is a ranking system does not mean it is a working ranking system. Even devs (Peanuts if i am correct) posted that it is not a true ranking system but rather benefits players who play a lot. Sorry that you dont understand that and it obviously is crushing your ego for whatever reason.

Surely everyone can have an opinion, but how good your opinion it is relies on your own skill which directly correlates with your ability to judge and understand the game to a different level. All things have different levels of understanding. It's not the same an opinion from a civil engineering regarding structures than an architect's or a projector's. You get the point

Should he have swung directly from the uncloak on the Dwight at 1:25? There was no pallet there. All he had to do was run up to him and M1 and he would have had an easy hit. Instead the Dwight made the pallet and he ended up having to drop chase.
You don't need to be a god at this game to see that Tru3 made some very bad plays here.
3 -
I never said he didn't make any mistakes, I was talking about a more generic point. Yes you are right, that particular mistake you mention is pretty easy to spot
2 -
Fair. I do agree with the general point.

Why is it everytime i see a post like this its almost always a tru3talent video.

The game is "broken" because there are some players that are so optimal they can stomp really easily. (No this game is broken because of how many game breaking bugs it has, but sure, this is why the game is broken) But how many hours did they train to get to this level of efficiency, how many times did they have to play each map in order to learn all the tiles and how to run them? How long did they play with each other to get to this level of coordination?
This isn't every 4 man SWF, hell this isn't even every SWF. This is something that'll happen once in a blue moon. Really good tourney squads probably make up so little of the playerbase that the stars would have to align for you to go against them. And if you do play against them does that mean you're going to have to play as efficiently as possible with little to no mistakes to win? Yes. That's what happens when a good team gets together and has played together long enough to probably know every move the other players in their squad are going to make.
Would I ever want to go against one of these squads? Hell no, I know I would get hard stomped. But the chances of me running into one of these Tourney squads is so little that I'm honestly not fussed about it in the slightest. They're an aberration, not the norm. Stop acting like they are.

Killers mains need to be honest here, how often do you face an organized SWF team?
How often, out of let's say 10 matches, do you score the 4K?
I play solo que mostly, 90% of the time and it's rough. Unless I get lucky and paired with decent players, the Killer is going to run rough shot through the team and, might give someone the hatch.
I could record game after game of rampant murder and Survivor DC's.

One of the best players in the world??? He is not even one of the best content creators and no where near on tournament level. ######### is wrong with people saying stuff like that lmfao.
And can i do better? LOL its hardly possible to do a lot worse then he did. He had like 1 hook in the entire match.
2 -
Thats why every killers have to be brought to Spirit LV + they HAVE to buff solos somehow. Then this game would actually be balanced. But the thing is, how will they buff solo without voice chat?
I would love proximity voice chat, but they said they wont add this. :/

I mean it might make you laugh but when you realize that there are really bad players that shouldn’t be in red ranks (I.e. the crouching red rank Blendette who never saves on time or self heals in the corner while her team goes down) you tend to not really care about rank as much.
You can’t make that stuff up and it’s a lot more common than you think.

I'm a big fan of Tru3, and he is a good player overall, but yeah, no way he was getting more than draw at best. Playing a 'meh' killer like Wraith with a non meta build against a 4 man on a map with strong tiles, what would anyone expect?
Tru3 absolutely could have played better, but I think its fair to say he was starting to tilt a little bit after failing to commit to somebody after those gens pop. Wraith's hit and run playstyle is decent, but it relies on catching people off guard, very diificult against a SWF like this. If survivors play super safe with pallets and callouts like these guys, its rough for Bing Bong.
Main thing to take away from this is just the same thing that has been repeated verbatim, that SWF and the information is just too much for some killers in this game, especially stealth killers.

This game is about the hunt. Is there a good chase against a Spirit? Not really if you ask me, over super quick. They should actually go in the other direction rather then bringing other killer to Spirit level. I would rather like to see SWF nerfed then having to face killer that make looping impossible
Long and intense chases are the only reason this game is popular. Killing that off is killing the game. If i would run every day only against Nurse and Spirit, i would be gone ages ago.

oh no, a decent killer main lost against better survivors because he kept making mistakes, the game isn’t balanced
lets just ignore his entire streams worth of 4ks, this one match shows the balance issues in the game!

Awww is baby twue tawent crying again?

Thing that bothers me about tru3 is what he said at the end. When someone told him "they are a tournament team" he said "of course they were, that's all I go against". He has WAY too high of an opinion about himself.
2 -
I know, many people don't like True, and in this video he didn't do much, but lets be honest, Wraith doesn't have a chance against this kind of swf. He can do that only if they throw the game.

Wow, IDK why Tru3ta1ent has so many mix opinions about him but it's gotta be annoying for him to deal with this kind of thing where people put him down for playing a weaker killer with a bad build against a swf tourny team.
He seems like a pretty nice guy imo and definitely not a bad player from what i've seen of his other videos.

Man, I don't watch Truetalent because I don't find him very interesting, but I am curious to see some of you people claiming how easily you defeat teams like this. I'd happily watch any of you do better against this very specific team. Not some team you think is similar, I wanna see you take on THIS team. Clearly it's really easy, even with Wraith. Let's see it! I don't care about forum bravado, I wanna see ACTION.

As if you know who i am and how good i am.
I dont like him because he is full of himself while absolutly medicore and barly able to admit any mistakes he does (which are many).
Please, just for once... let him participate in a strong tournament, this might open your eyes quite a bit.
May i ask how many hours you have in DbD? Which plattform do you play on? Just curious.

I don't deny his skills, but his skills are over exaggerated. One of the most toxic things in the community is people who repeatedly, without fail, find something or someone else to blame for their losses. Tru3 is literally the king of that. That's all he does. It's never "this was a good group of survivors", it's always "This was probably survive with friends. Unbalanced. It's just logic."
He LITERALLY said in the video the OP posted that "all he goes against are tournament squads". He ACTUALLY believes that. If that's how he feels, he can't be that good. He's decent. He's not great.
Tofu, Hexy, Bronx, Umbra, Soul Fury, Jaee, Scott Jund, DOWSEY. All better killers (proof is in their gameplay), who don't seem to find a reason to blame everything and everyone but themselves every time they lose. The community doesn't troll Tru3 because he wants balance. We all want balance. They troll him because every time he loses, he whines and makes an excuse because it's apparently LITERALLY NEVER his fault. Like the prospect of him just being outplayed is unheard of to him. He's so full of his own narcissistic attitude it's not even funny.

completely agree, gen rush is not ok

You are by far one of the most biased persons i have seen in this forum. Of course you like longchases, you play survivor. You like having control, do you think survivors should have control in a game where they outnumber their opponent? Having so much 2nd chances, maps, rng, swf. You do realize most killers except for nurse and spirit have 0 control over the chase? and they still need to do so many things. You guys who are so into survivor and only survivor, should ask for devs to actually develop an AI and make this a PVE game once it for all.
Of course you don't like facing nurse or spirit, those killers allow the killer to actually have an impact base upon their own skill and outplay you if they are better than you, which doesn't happen with the rest of the killers. And you enjoy longchases. Yeah I bet you do

Although not being a common thing it is still not okey, it still shows how broken things are and how much the game actually carries people instead of their own skill. There is way too many survivors that bully killers and it only takes to be in com. Are they actually good? By mere definition of being top %, i hardly doubt it (if everyone is so good then no one really is it, the word loses sense).
The game has a real problem when it comes to this level. And yes some people might not experience it too often, but others might. It is up to the region you play at and the hours you play at. It also doesn't take that much skill as I stated above to start exploding these aspects and making the game so uphill for killers. The game carries you.
I really do have fun just watching how some people do believe and are actually convinced they have skill when they bully some killer, nothing to do with the game, just their own skill of course.
There are even "tournament teams" despite this game having no real balance at his top level. I used to play Dota 2 at 7k mmr, an actual competitive game that hosts the most important esport tournament in the world. Forgive me if I laugh at people that takes this game so serious and think they have skill

Most players in this game are mediocre and the matchmaking has never been very good it just throws people togehter.
I can understand it feels hopeless to get stomped but you can always improve and lessen the time you get stomped drastically.
I like how op used true as example even though he isnt even close to the best killers and true still gets 3k/4k most of the time when he plays killer.
If you want the game to be balanced around tournament squads as killer i hope you will have fun in a game that you lose 1% of the time without any effort as most people arent very good at all. Personally i already get bored if i stomp.
