Weekly banned perk rotations
Hi BHVR, have you ever thought of adding a Shrine that bans 4 perks (2/2) for a week?
This brings more variety as the players are sometimes forced to replace their meta perks and try out new builds.

In theory this could be helpful, but imagine somebody who wants to record/livestream using a specific build, now that person isn't able to do it.
Would it be fair? Don't think so.
I do think tho that encouraging people into using different build and non-meta perks is really important, because it gives the game variety and it's actually a healthy behavior. But banning perks I don't think it's the right way to do so.
Even myself spammed in the past meta perks with killer, I thought that every build must include BBQ and POP but hey, once you get tired of the meta stuff you start trying out new things naturally.
The more hours you have in the game, the less afraid you are to try out new things.

I can only see the queue times being increased if DS/BBQ get banned, doubt its gonna work

Okay but also let's say it was implemented.
How would it work? Would it be random? Would it take most used perks per week - which then would result in probably the same perks being banned every 2 weeks -?

How about 1/1 per week and it's always DS and NOED

Nah I was more thinking about random perks.
Or as I see banning would be a bit too tough for most players, maybe more like the least popular perks of previous week get bonus bloodpoints when used. I don't really care how they do it but if BHVR thinks it would be good to give players a reason to change perks and bring some variety, it's their job to come up with some good ideas ;-)

Rather than ban common perks, why not go the other way around and offer incentives towards equipping rarely used ones?
For example, two perks for Killer and two for Survivor, each game you use one of the perks, gain an additional 10,000 bloodpoints or experience towards devotion levels. Do it enough games in a day or week and get a bigger bonus.
