Cross Play is the worst thing ever for solo ques
I know I've read this before but it's so bad I have to add to it... Not only do I play with rank 20 SWF teams but they almost always kill themselves if you let them hang for a little bit if you work on a gen, super altruistic if one of their team is hooked or being chased, and just crouch around doing absolutely nothing while I'm hooked. I've ran the killer around the entire map several a couple times for a what seems an eternity and not one gen pops. To top it off, I hop a window and they crouch away and hide instead of taking a hit for the injured guy that the killer has been chasing for 10 minutes, lol. I just turned cross play off, good riddens and good luck.

Solo queue has always been the worst experience in Dead by Daylight, so this comes as nothing new.

I agree with @Pawcelot. The solo queue experience in this game is not the best and crossplay is irrelevant and has nothing to do with it. Nothing changed.

That's not completely true. Depending on who you ask, the queues seem to have improve / gotten worse since the introduction of Crossplay. Still. I think more players in the pool is better.
