Well, yes. I did also make a post about that, but apparently I don't know what I'm talking about.

Kill Your Friends needs open matchmaking.
0 -
Unless of course the killer actually has mobility, tracking, and lethality. An easy combination to acquire.
0 -
Or maybe you just don't care what people think about you. Also, not the most unpopular.
0 -
So it's worth dropping DS or an exhaustion perk for WoO?
0 -
Wow you know what it was like in the "good old days". Too bad it's all completely irrelevant now.
0 -
Points and pips aren't a penalty, that's why they added another one.
Not unpopular.
Oh no I spent another 10 seconds holding m1. This is dbd mate.
I actually agree, I also wonder if others agree and if this is actually unpopular.
Hex Ruin was useless against top tier survivors. These are the people killers are scared of, so how is it fine that it became a crutch across the board?
Give up option on 200+ seconds would be cool.

The freddy one isn't unpopular, but I actually agree with all of this.
0 -
Dead Hard/Iron Will/DS/WoO
0 -
What's wrong with venting at the killer? Not like any killers care.
0 -
Sad that this is unpopular.
1 -
D/c penalties will make this game lose a lot of it's playerbase
1 -
That's...not an opinion
2 -
Probably not unpopular...

Mmkay
Yup, agreed
Yes, agreed
Sure, sometimes
Not unpopular
Not an opinion
Okay

Or you're just saying that in the hopes that you get to tunnel and play lazy in other ways. Make a smurf account if ur tired of having to actually try as killer.
0 -
Benefitting the obsession is the point, you need to save the best for last.
0 -
Hmm ok
0 -
Hmm that's not what happened last time.
0 -
Oh you want a casual mode. Not really unpopular but it works.
0 -
Essentially, although I was thinking more of a valve like sever/lobby list.
0 -
So, how about unruinular... or unthanaular
...why’s it always gotta be about the pop ;P
0 -
That would be cool.
0 -
the devs are clueless....... oh wait you said UNpopular opinion mb
0 -
It's less casual and more 'Survivors and Killers can now openly bully random players and get rewarded for it'.
Next they'll want bloodpoints for playing their boosted game mode.

Indoors maps are the best ones from both sides
David isn't hot at all.
totems over gens over friends
it's ok to leave an other survivor behind if you have no way of saving them.
Maps are the best item : it gives you points without being consumed.
1 -
I've found my potato teammates' mindset: bring maps, don't do gens, make up excuses not to save me.
Check, check, check

This is not even an opinion, it's a fact according to in game objectives, BP gains, pips, every available metric. I don't get a bonus or any kind of reward for "leave one left to tell the tale", I get ######### out of a no one escapes alive bonus and sacrifice points at best.
0 -
Imagine using in game metrics as a standard of balance. Next you're going to tell me that you mean in game metrics except for the escape ratio because it doesn't fit your narrative. Predictable.
0 -
The game needs to reward people when their opponent is bringing in stronger items/perks/killers/add ons/offerings AND are allowed to see their opponents and adjust before the match. The only thing worse than a Freddy/Jump Rope/Swing Chains/Thana/Dying Light/PGTW/Surveillance/Mori on literally any map is both the game and the killer pretending they earned their victory and didn't have every advantage under the sun.
0 -
You're conflating dev balance metrics and objective/reward in game metrics. I'm not sure if you're doing this on purpose or not but given your own very obvious bias, it does seem intentional.
If they wanted to reward 3Ks the same or better than a 4K you might have a point, but they don't, so you don't. The objectives stand, kill 'em all and let the Entity sort them out.

"Proxy camping" is not camping in certain situations if you use it with a purpose and in a tactical way.
0 -
The devs made the game...the metrics are both measured in game...what are you trying to say. For real, you probably have nothing to say and if you don't it'd probably be wise to spare the embarrassment and just not say anything.

ShitTalent/Otz do more to help fuel survivor/killer tensions and divide the community more than anyone else and they don't think about how telling killers to dodge unless there's a windows store player single handedly ######### up survivor queue times.
Additionally they completely destroy the culture around a lot of killers to the point most of people refuse to play they at all for awhile, myself included, because "we're trolling if we don't take certain perks" which leads to a lot of harrassment on both sides.
Sigh...RIP OG Myers/Ghostface main community.

My unpopular opinion is that The Legion is my favorite killer to play because running fast and slapping survivors is fun.
1 -
I appreciate your attempt, but in truth there's not a whole lot that the killer can do just by looking at the survivors, as opposed to the survivors looking at the killers, because all killers can see are basic items and skins. On the flip side, the hack that lets survivors see their opponents let's them equip whatever specific perks that will destroy their opponent.
Still, the principle is the same. I was simply using the most broken and one-sided example that came to mind.
0 -
If someone can hack to see one side, I'm sure they could hack to see the other as well. Also many people can make adjustments just by the number and type of items they see.
Oh a key? Let me bring an Ebony Mori (people in the forums say this all the time)
Oh 4 toolboxes? Easy Franklins and maybe an Ivory Mori (probably an Ebony though, let's be honest)
0 -
The hack was very well publicised, I'm surprised you missed it. It just made it so that survivors were looking form the killer lobby camera instead of their own.
And congrats, you've proved my point. Franklins still sucks and Keys and Mori's have gotta go. Anything to say about the other scenario, survivor skins?

The obsession with swf is funny yet sad. So desperate to save their image that they just blame whatever they can come up with that people will fall for. Definitely one of the darker aspects of the dbd community.

The MMR was actually better than the current matchmaking
0 -
I have a lot of opinions. Some most likely are unpopular.
1) Pipping is the true win condition. Getting pips increases your rank which will match you against stronger players. That makes it the only objective measure of success as of right now.
However it will no longer be that once MMR is reintroduced as it will now define the matchmaking. So...
2) Once MMR will finally replace ranks (and I think it should) There needs to be some system besides emblems and pip.
Or at least show if you did well or poorly MMR-wisely. MMR is a good idea and I'm waiting for it to return but..
3) MMR should NOT be hidden. Your own MMR should be available to you and it will be a good thing to see others MMR after the trial.
If devs decide to keep it entirely hidden they at least should show a message after a trial like "MMR increased/decreased/remained the same".
One more thing about current pip/emblem system
4) 2k is currently not a good result for a killer. The simple truth is that it's pretty much impossible to pip with a 2k so it can not be a win. MMR might change that but for now killers usually need at least 3k to do well.
As the result from that...
5) Killer is usually harder than survivor. Simple really: survivors don't always need to escape to pip but killers always have to kill to pip. At least 3k is required on higher ranks.
A few more things:
6) The amount of hours played is the best indicator of skill as of right now. MMR should be tied to that.
7) SWF is an easy mode. And it screws both balance and matchmaking entirely. But it's also the least stressful and the most fun mode so it absolutely should not be removed or limited to a separate queue.
But...
8) Limiting SWF to three people would be healthy for the game balance-wise. (but it would hurt the playerbase so I'm not for it)
9) Voice chat is the only real way to close the gap betweem solo in SWF. And it should work the same as Discord - not depend on proximity and not be heard to killer at all. But it should be mutable of course.
10) NOED is the strongest killer perk
11) Small Game is one of the best survivor perks because it's an anti-NOED and anti-Hex in genera.l
12) Walls of text can be interesting to read))) (Though this one probably isn't 😄)

Humanity is a blight on the planet and doesn’t deserve to exist.
As far as DBD, aura reading from bbq should be base.

Make your choice is one of the best perks in the game.

Nope. She will know when a timer is active or inactive, but she can't see the remaining time on the Traps.
1 -
about half of the killer roster is pretty boring/painful to go against
0 -
well your potato teammate is the one getting rid of NOEd you probably cry about ;) but like i said it's npopular opinions so even tho you disrespect mine i'll respect yours ^^

i've been watching Otz streams and videos and came across some of true talents a few times and i'm quite surprise you think they have a negative effect on the community, at least for Otz that makes people want to experience more with killers ^^ but i could be wrong and still even if we have different pov/opinions i'll not disrespct yours ^^

I used to watch him until I once got into a game with him and he completely DOGGED me out for 1. playing claudette and 2. healing people and taking self care so i could take hits with bt and protective hits for other people in chases. I proceeded to get dogged out for being annoying and heard him tell his chat this is why you just tunnel Claudette's when you see them because they know they're heard to see and they take advantage of it. He also bitched constantly about self care and said I was a troll for taking it along with empathy. I was literally apedt Claudette with BT. He just left a bad taste in my mouth after that.
Ran into TrueTalent while playing perkless and I got accused of hacking because I'm just really good at spotting stealth killers and knowing Myers as well Ghostface inside out. I know what distance they can stalk me from and can immediately peg their add ons based on interactions. Told my 4 man SWF and how to play around it. I was accused of hacking because "there's no way my stalk wasnt going off on this Claudette" she must be cheating. So I'll admit I'm biased against them.
Like I know I can't loop killers well and I only got better because I get tunneled so much. So I just spend time learning perks, add ons, animations, times for animations, if a killer is doubling black, moon walking, etc. Not everyone is a gen jockey or a runner. A lot of us use knowledge to play to our strenghts and that's what I do. It just sucks when a streamer with a following accuses you of being something you're not and you get dog piled for it. No they didn't send there people after me but you know how people are.

You didn't address the statement just went to attacks. Not surprised.
