Can We Remove Deep Wound?
I like the idea behind it but it's also one of the three things that give me headaches. The other two is distorted vision on clowns bottles, and a shot from deathslinger. Honestly can we just remove vision debuffs? All of them are pointless imo.

Why not just rework the visuals instead of nixing the thing?

True, but I feel like the vision debuff is the only good thing about deep wound. 16 seconds of slowdown is not a lot.

Tbh I barely even notice the visuals anymore. How about making the bar drain faster and increasing the timer from 16 to 20? In return the visuals are either removed or reworked to be less annoying.

Also, on a separate note, they need to put deep wounds into the survivor tutorial, because I was playing with one of my friends who is newer to the game, and I saved them with BT, and then they bled out because they had no idea what deep wounds was which cost us the match.

This is perfect. It makes deep wound more powerful, and indirectly buff legion, AND it's headache inducing visuals are gone.

Deep wounds overlay is the worse - all it does it succeed in camouflaging the killers red stain and annoying me. Along with the Plague's infected special effects on my HUD - that can go too I don't want to look at that all game, which is usually the case since cleansing against Plague is taboo.

If we were to take out deep wounds, BT would basically be removed. I'm a killer main and I have zero issue with BT. Id rather have that in the game so people have a "chance" against face campers.

I already want bt to change. Make the survivor lose collision for 15 seconds no matter what. Solves two problems with facecampers, and removes bodyblocking while still keeping what bt is meant for.

I like the visuals... But they don't really do anything gameplay wise, so there should totally be a menu option to reduce the intrusiveness. Same with Madness and Torment.

Could you imagine if they removed this and changed legions power to just being able to 2 shot someone instantly. I'd take that exchange.

ah, the visual effect, not the effect.
Yeah, I can get behind that. It doesn't serve much purpose other than needlessly block survivor's vision and lessen the quality of the DbD experience.

If the devs were to remove Deep Wounds, it would instead act like MoM and just be a free hit which is a buff BT doesn't need.

If what you are saying is make Frenzy hits instadowns, they would need to do something to rebalance the power itself because I would sweep teams by the chaining hits on survivors and there's no sport in that. I think a rework of the effect that bluffs the Legion would be nice thought.

I'd love Legion without Deep Wound so I could use my power to down a survivor instead of just injure them. That'd make legion arguably as good as nurse and spirit which I am all for!

As much as I would love to do that, I have to admit that the chain hit instadowns would probably over power Legion. You could slug a whole team in a matter of seconds. Unbreakable or Tenacity would be the only counters.

What'd be your alternative for deep wound then because Legion's power would be really weak if it could only injure and didn't apply deep wound. It'd become useless if the whole team was injured apart from moving across the map which'd make him much less fun :/

DW feels hollow, in my opinion.
It is just a power that is powerless, because it can be easily removed. In exchange, it is used as a powerful argument against any positive changes.
With that in mind, I would be ok if it would be removed.

Deep Wounds just needs to be stronger without being more "anti-fun".
We could tweak the visuals to help you, but it would need other improvements.

Legion 100% doesnt need a nerf. I like him but I can't play with deep wounds. I need to take headache meds after and I hate doing that.

Honestly there are too many things like that in this game. There's lerys, doctor, hag (I think she has an add-on that makes your screen darken suddenly and if I am right I'm talking about that) theres also billy's roar, I'm just going to stop here bc ive given like 20 examples already lmao
