Removing the endgame collapse visual timer.

Hear me out. As I understand it, the creation of the endgame collapse was suppose to bring a new dynamic to when the gates are open. Making survivors choose carefully if it's safe to save a person from the hook or risk getting skewered by the entity if they don't escape in time.

Unfortunately, the side effect is survivors 99% the gate, in order to not worry about the endgame collapse while saving their teammate. Even if the killer opens a gate to force endgame collapse. The survivors are well aware of how much time they have and there's no tension build up in risk/reward play. Even enough time to sit at the gate to continue goading a killer because they escaped.

I've experienced this many times. I've even willingly opened the gate to say "you've won. lets end this match so I can move on to the next one." But sometimes I am met with cocky survivors who don't want to leave and enjoy the teabag until I come up to them to smack them out the gate, or the endgame timer is near its end.

I would imagine that it would be really funny if a survivor was so busy being cocky that they forget about the timer and get skewered by the entity at the gate. So make no changes on how the endgame collapse works. Just take out the visual que, or even change the audio escalation, so the survivors can't tell how close they have until entity death.
