Suggestion for the "Too short match" problem

I'm quite sure other ppl have already suggested that.. still

To repair gens survivor must find a toolbox on the map (not a bloodweb one, a MAP one, from a chest) Obviously there have to be moore chest on the map and 4 toolbox spawn must be granted.
It can be easy to find, no problem, chests can even start glowing after 60 seconds no one finds them, but it will give a second objective to survivors, making the game last longer and the killer can stop needing ruin to even have a chance to win the match.
It will even give more objective to the killer since he have to patrol chests too!
Also they can give to sabot perk the ability to fix gens without finding a toolbox but solower and/or with the ruin effrect applied... Is not that hard to do.
Other ideas?

    I like the idea having to search tools to repair the gens.

    Yeah... i remember that experiment...
    Just giving the killer 2 or 3 more minutes before the genrush starts will help a lot the game in my opinion u_u

    I think that having to do an additional search for an extra item would be way too annoying and would never pass. Instead, why not add a 1 minute timer to the exit gates before you can attempt to open them? You could also have it where you have to do 1 specific generator before the gates open but that gets removed once 5 minutes have passed. You could also have it where only 1 ultra rare add on can be used in a game, so no gear stacking or insta heal spams. I play survivor and killer and I feel like any one of these changes would be helpful and not too big a hassle for the survivors.

    Yeah but I can counter with why have to sit around and wait in a corner or hide somewhere while the time limit passes that you're referring too... the objective needs to be something that survivors cant avoid and finding tools or gas or something interesting maybe they need to power a cercuit breaker before repairing the gens or after the gens... anything that's remotely interesting that cant be by passed by creeping around.. the goal is to slow them down so the gen rush doesn't ruin the game like it does now..

    I'm not saying that your idea is wrong, but for a game that historically favors the survivors your idea would never pass. There would be too many posts saying that the game will be too hard and whatnot and they'll be too scared to implement it. Having something like capping ultra rare addons or having the random generator would be easy enough to digest and also be a huge help to killers. We need baby steps.
