Killer Perks for killers I don't own?

I haven't been on my PC pretty much all summer. I got on today for the bloodpoints and decided to put them into killers because my survivors are maxed.

I'm noticing I can buy perks in my bloodweb for killers I don't own. Plague, Clown, and Freddy so far

I don't know if this is a new feature or a bug of some sort, but I'm a little on edge if it's the latter because I don't want the game to think I'm cheating in some way when I'm not.

    Have you bought any killer perks in the shrine in the past by any chance?

    If you are not sure if you bought them or not you can check by clicking on the character info tab in the top right and then cycle through the killers until you get to Plague, Clown, and Freddy. The check marks next to the perks indicate that you own their teachables.

    The ones I bought in the bloodweb are ticked. Maybe I did buy them in the shrine and can't remember. Thank you!
