What is Dead Man Switch used for?
It's all in the title. Any help or advice welcome. I don't understand how to use this perk, it sounds extremely situational to me

it is a situational perk i use it for a obession build on freddy so with freddy its DMS, Nemesis, Discordance and BBQ or TT you can replace discordance for pop if you want but you lose that potential early game info from discordance. add ons normally class photo or teleport recovery speed
DMS has so much potential but it just a meh perk ideally i would this version of DMS
DMS:
When you hook a survivor and are 20 meters away from hooked survivor all gens not been worked on are blocked for duration that the survivor is hooked. Also if a survivor lets go off a gen when its activated it is blocked aswell when survivor is unhooked it lingers for 20 seconds before gens become unblocked.
