im thinking of a rework

so today i was playing a couple of games with the pig, the results were a lot of brutal killer statuses, 1 entity displeased, and finally 4 ruthless killer, to me the pig feels kinda empty, and the power doesnt really work well with its secondary action, ie, the rbt's, ie stealth

the goal of all killers all have a power that is fully fulfilled potential, or has potential that is fulfilled later in the trial, and mixing stealth with traps has no bridge, the stealth gives no real advantage besides undetectable status and ambush, and the beartraps also serve no real purpose because at higher ranks survivors just take them off like nothing. i want a rework, oe that fulfills the potential of the traps without having to waste time of your life placing them just for them to be taken off

i want it so all survivors have a beartrap and the pig uses stealth to activate the timers after watching them for a period of time, the ambush to still be an action since i already see potential fulfilled with it, but the beartraps need to have a rework, whos with me?

    The point of Pigs double abilities is to represent Jigsaws normal way of kidnapping. Sneak up to people to incapacitate them and stick em in a trap. It wouldn't feel right without it. The upsides to crouch are undetectable and ambush, isn't that the entire ability? The problem with RBTs is that they are way to random, sometimes you can get them off in one box, or the last one on the map. I think if they made her traps less random and reworked her addons she would be fine.

    i know i already said i posted this in the wrong section, but i cant ignore a question like this, since jigsaw isnt here, this should be amandas way of doing things, but twisted by the entity slightly, the purpose of my rework is to not make the bear traps as useless as they are now, since high ranks tick me off when they take it off as soon as they get it.

    they should all have a beartrap, the stealth should be much better with the purpose of fulfilling and building a bridge between the primary and secondary, like the demogorgon, channeling the abyss unlocks the shred action, but the way it fulfills purpose is that any survivor within an activated portal is revealed by ki.

    I think starting the trial with a RBT would not really make sense since how would that work in a lore stand point, like I assumed a trial was like 4 random people awaken in a random location with a powered up killer at the SAME time. Something like this would imply that the killer awakened first and had enough time put traps on everyone then go to another random location on the map, even though they could easily hook everyone instead since they had both the time and awareness to place traps on every survivor’s head. Instead, being able to put a RBT on someone at the healthy/injured heath stage if Amanda is able to successfully sneak attack a survivor seems like a suitable compromise. Especially since it also bridges the gap between the stealth and trap abilities plus the sneak attack will still injure the survivor and if it fails she can still put one on if they are put into the dying health state before she hooks them. It even lends itself more towards the saw sneak up and incapacitate theme (though instead of incapacitate, it is trap). Also the staring to activate trap part still does affect the randomness of the Jigsaw boxes, it just makes them harder to escape because Amanda could set off a survivor’s RTB and tunnel them to death then repeat to at least get two confirmed kills if not a 4K, easily. Having the gens set off the traps make more sense since it punishes survivors for leaving their trap on and doing gens or not coordinating to prevent them from activating another survivor’s trap. Honestly, I think that the pig is pretty good at most ranks. High ranks, I guess, from your explanation, are a different story. To change pig for high ranks to make her harder will also exponentially increase the difficulty for lower ranks.

    Ps: If you really want survivors to start with RBT it shouldn’t be a main ability, but maybe an add on. Though it should either increase the time allotted to remove the trap, decrease the amount of RBT available to be placed after they remove them, and/or limit the number of possible survivors that can spawn with one on.

    I main Pig as a killer and personally I don't think she needs too many changes. I think the Video Tape and Rule Set No 2 add-ons should be just part of her ability and her roar when going into an ambush needs to be quieter. I do also think a few of the add-ons need to be reworked but for the most part I don't think she needs a "Freddy style" rework and she's mostly fine as is.
