I double checked to make sure i wasn't mixing games up. There was 3 chests plus basement chest in The Temple of Purgation and no one had any coin offerings. Not that I mind an extra chest.
Anyone else encountered this?

There has been a fourth chest in the temple all my life, this is not a bug
