Oktoberfest Kate outfit
Hello DBD-Devs,
I was wondering if you would be open about revisiting Kate's new Oktoberfest outfit. (Or would be willing to explain one detail about the outfit)
The outfit is beautiful and I would most definitelly buy it as Kate main, but one thing bothers me heavily and it stops me from buying the outfit.
Basically the noticeable pointy ends on her hips. I don´t understand what the point of the pointy ends is. I would look over it if those ends were subtle, but that´s literally the first thing my eyes catch, because it doesn´t looks "normal" proportion wise.
Is there any chance this can be revisited and "ironed" out?
(If there is a thread about this, then I am sorry, I couldn´t find anything)

Her whole dress in general is way too stiff that it might as well not even have physics. Bring back flowy and floppy physics bhvr.

Yeah, when I spectated another Kate ingame with that outfit it was the first thing you notice and it looked very weird. If you look at it ingame, not only the sides stick out, the "rear" also is the same, it all looks stiff, like a small out of proportion tent.

Came to the forums to say this, if you rotate her, from the front it looks like she has a dislocated hip. I already bought the skin because I think it's absolutely beautiful but it does bother me that she looks like she broke her hip and it's now dangling from her side. it's a bummer and I would be super grateful if it got fixed.

I think it´s because the outfit is tailored specifically like that. Mixing would result in clipping with other cosmetics.

Ok, that´s not how I viewed it at first, but now that you say it, it makes totally sense. I hope they consider fixing this...

Huh, it's almost like it's not good enough to be a cosmetic that is forcibly linked at $10. Will never buy this skin or any other linked set, there is literally no reason why they should be. Before you say it, the "preventing clipping issues" is bullshit, these outfits have SEVERAL clipping issues of their own, and they could easily be a 3 piece set without much adjustment.

What bothers me more is the slit at the right side. I think it is for helping with clipping since all long skirts have some sort of slit (which are 90% horrible). But on other skirts it moves and behaves at least like a slit skirt. Kate's dress is just stiff there. Either let it move freely or close the slit (which I like more). Also the sleeves don't have any textures from the inside. They are invisible. Just go on a Gen and look at her from different angles.

I don´t know about clipping being bullshit, neither do you. Only the devs knows. It was a guess from me.
Yes, there are other clipping issues already present, like for example when david puts on his black pants, up his waist when he walks you can see his skin pop out.

Well except I do know that it's bullshit because all these linked sets HAVE clipping issues even though these terrible sets are supposed to "prevent them"

Threads like this need to let the devs know about these kinda problems. As of right now I don´t even know if they even consider this a problem. It´s sad. Would have loved to buy this outfit if it wasn´t flawed like this.

If they truly cared, they would either:
A) Make them mix and matchable because it does nothing but limit outfits and makes them inherently worse by default. It seriously wouldn't be too hard for them to make minor adjustments for the costumes to be split into 3; they already have division lines perfectly splitting them.
or
B) Make them half the price because of the fact that you are forced to wear a whole set even though you should have a customization option and because that they are easier to make.
