Any way I could talk with my brother who is on ps4 while Im playing on PC ?

Title. I still don't understand how there can be no voice chat in dbd in 2020, but whatever.

We tried having him talk on discord through phone, but having earphones with headphones on top (earphones were connected to the phone, headphones to the ps4) proved to both make him hear poorly in-game, as well as be plain uncomfortable. Any other ideas ?
