The Grind
Can we talk about the grind for two seconds? To preface, I'm gonna attempt to make this as small a sample size as I can. Let's take killer into account
Including DLC killers, there are, as of currently, 21 killers into the game. And since that means every killer since launch comes with three perks, that translates to 63 perks, not counting perks that don't belong to a killer individually, such as whispers or spies.
On top of that, every perk has three "tiers" going up in efficacy; and that alone is tedious in of itself.
But add into the fact that you have to earn it all on every single killer in an RNG system that you *have* to spend currency in to re-roll what is in there, possibly short-changing you if the perk does come up next. Plus the tiers of perks cost more than the last, and then if you choose to prestige, you lose it all and have to wait on luck to do it all over again.
With how many perks are in the game, can't we just make it to where all perks have their tier three effectiveness, and only needs to be purchased once in the bloodweb instead of three, luck-based times? This would make the game a lot more pallettable for players who pick up the game with all the dlc, those who wanna P3 a killer/survivor, or those who just stopped playing for a bit and missed new characters being added.
The RNG generation of perks is enough in the bloodweb, I don't see why I have to buy it three separate times to get my full use out of it.
TL;DR: I feel with the number of perks added by this point, it's unnecessary to rely on an in game currency system, plus RNG to give you a perk three times at its' full capacity

I started in 2016 and had a 2 year break so it's taken me 2 and a bit years? to get this:
- I have all Killers at Rank 50 (I only have all perks on three of them)
- I have something like 48 Survivors at Rank 50 ( I have all perks on NONE of them)
That's a hell of a lot of grind. I can see why new players would be put off.
-edit- 3 of my Killers are P3 maxed out on perks, forgot that one lol
