Rather than a secondary objective, how about another obstacle?
It's unlikely that the gen speeds will be slowed down to make games last longer, and I've had this idea mulling about in my head for awhile, so I decided to catalogue it here. Doubt it will happen, but it was fun to come up with the concept:
At 3 gens, if there is still 4 survivors in the game, a vaguely angel shaped apparition made from Entity tendrils appears and begins pursuing the Obsession. It moves at half the speed of survivors, but ignores obstacles and terrain. It has an aura that all survivors can see at anytime. If any survivor enters a 2m radius around The Angel, they get wrapped by it, and it counts as a hook state (similar to PH in that perks don't work with it), and requires other survivors to come save them. Dreadful music and screen effects occur to let them know they're in danger. The Angel can't catch a survivor in the dying state. If the Obsession is being chased or is in the dying/hooked/carried state, The Angel stops in place until the chase ends or the survivor recovers. The Angel disappears when there's only 1 gen remaining, or if the remaining survivors is less than 4.

I like it except for the angel part. Make it the grim reaper.

So you want to add another killer to the game that can't be looped and auto hooks survivors? Why even play killer if you want the game to do your job for you? How could you possibly be struggling so badly that you'd need this??

You do realize it only goes after one person and you can gain distance by holding w because it moves at 50%

The Entity doesn't play favorites. It feasts on survival and death alike.

Knowing killers they'll see it as a golden opportunity to....tunnel the obsession.
I'd rather level hazards or weather effects. Still awed by this one level from Killzone 2 years ago. A nuke would go off and everyone would have 15 seconds to get to shelter or die instantly.
Imagine a level like The Game where everyone needs to scatter from the top level at timed intervals. Or a bunch of open buildings with the weather beating you down in the open areas. It would be....magnificent.

Yeah but that means that 1 person can do nothing but run away for the duration of 2 whole gens.
That would be very OP for the killer, who now only need to keep 3 survivors off gens.
It's a cool concept, but not a practical one in the slightest.
Also, we don't need games to be longer. Just balanced better. Long games are bad for matchmaking.

I think it would only be balanced if it was at 1 gen or endgame.

People who have said Breakable walls should have to be built first have the right idea.
Devs said Breakable walls were a bonus for the killer but theres only 2 walls (both on the pre school) that actively benefit the killer. And have the opposite effect when broken. The rest create literal infinites in areas where there didnt used to be.

Another way to counter DS. Yes.
