Why can't the survivors see the killer?
The killer can see who is going to be playing and check their profiles (on steam) and see if they are toxic or not etc... but the survivors are totally oblivious. I'm not asking it to show me what killer he's playing but his NAME. (Like a list on the side like in KYF)
That way I don't waste 5mins in que to get camped or tunneled and moried by some sweaty try hard and have to go back in que again.
Yes I would dodge if the killer is sus because I'm not going to wait and then have the game end short cause someone wants to sweat. It should be fun on both sides and I really think moris need to be reworked. And before the killer mains jump at me about keys, I barely ever use them I have so many in my inventory I play for fun, I don't try THAT hard to escape as long as I get a decent amount of points.

I'd rather remove the ability to see all player ID's from the lobby rather than implement this. When there was the ability for the Survivor to see the killer, it was very easily abusable ie. you know this guy plays Spirit, you don't like playing against Spirits so you lobby dodge, which then affects matchmaking and queue times for everyone else.
I'd be perfectly supportive of removing all profiles in the lobbies.

I would very much like IDs removed from lobby and during the match. Have it be survivor 1/2 or character name (1/2 if more than one). End game have whatever was used to identify players be next to IDs if report needs to be made.

I totally agree.

The only reason I see to avoid showing ID's is to avoid people being able to find your profile to look at you beforehand; or to find it and message you or try to add you, etc.

And that's not to mention the niche perks that make life miserable for some killers. Do you think you'd ever play another game of Doctor or Oni without 4 Calm Spirits?

Some Killers target players they've played before. I've had back to back matches with same killer that I escaped in previous match so they tunnel/facecamp me in the next even though they didn't tunnel/camp in previous match and I did nothing toxic, just escaped.

Because every time you'd see a Doctor, you'd equip Calm Spirit or a Hag, etc.
I just wish you could at least see the player ID of the killer since they can see the survivors.

@judicar you clearly didn't read what I wrote lol

Actually, Doctor and Oni still do well against 4 calm spirits. Oni doesnt need Infectious Fright to find survivors, it makes it a lot easier, but he doesnt need it. Doctor doesnt really need to use his ability to locate survivors, it makes it a lot easier(which is why doc is considered to be one of the strongest killers in the game right now), but he doesnt need it.
Same could be said for Hag and Urban Evasion. Even if every survivor ran it, you still can pretty much play normally. Its a tiny bit more challenging, but all the killers mentioned can handle a little challenge.

My steam profile filled with complains about me tunneling. But I never tunnel. At least not on purpose. Most of the time they blame me tunneling because they run into my face after hook and expect me to ignore them. Or they just don't see me chasing and hooking other survivors and only remember times when I chase them. Also it's rarely someone comment my profile when I play fair. I always play fair but it is normal, no need to talk about it. But when something gone wrong they write down everything they want. So this is not good idea to judge people by their profiles.

@kaeru Well it already happens, because the killer can see your steam profile and judge you based on the comments you get or if your profile is private.
