Skill Check not working

Hi, I am a ps4 player who occasionally plays on pc with controller. I am having this issue where if I am doing any form of skill check it will not register my input on ps4. I have tried with 2 different controllers and tried with and without wired. I have tried purposely pressing early which would fail the skill check and that still doesn't work, so it is not controller lag. I have also uninstall the game on ps4 and then reinstalled and it still didn't work . Also my controller and skill check inputs work fine on pc. So it is just a ps4 problem, does anyone have any idea what could have caused this?
