Instant "stage 2" on hook

Hello,
Today, in two separate game, i died on hook even if it was the first time i get hooked.
The moment i get hooked i start in "stage 2" and since i am the last one alive i die automatically.
Is it a bug ? Didn't see that before.

That's not a bug. If you are the only survivor remaning in the trial, you will automatically be sacrificied. It's something they added because there was no reason to let survivors live in the hook while they're the only one alive.
