Can’t Hook Survivor (Bug)

So I was chasing this survivor as Myers, who jumped into a locker when I tried to hit him, but when he jumped out I grabbed him, interrupting his exit animation. But the game didn’t show him as downed, just injured. I could hear and see him on my shoulder though, and whenever I approached a hook the game showed the “press space to hook” thing on the screen, but when I pressed space, nothing happened. I couldn’t even drop the survivor—and lunge, kick gens, vault windows and pick up other downed survivors.
