Performance issues on Ps4

So I got into went in to a killer game as nurse and I was on haddonn field. And for some reason the game was running at 10 or 20 FPS. Is there a reason for this and how can I fix this? And if anybody else has encountered this please say. And Devs how do issues like this get to the live version of the game? Do you guys have game testers at all, I think it's shameful a issue big as this goes unchecked.

    Yeahh I have on ps4 playing as survivor, on Lerys, Hawkins, Mount Ormond, Backwater Swamp... so far all maps I've been to.

    Makes skill checks pretty fun :|
