Halloween 2020
Dear Behaviour,
This is my first post on the forums and i feel i should start with a thank you for nearly 1600 hours of entertainment, i am a big fan of the horror genre and have been in love with your game since i first laid eyes on it.
I truly understand that you cannot please every one with balance and that this game is focused around having fun. However with a heavy heart i can truly say that you have disappointed me.
How did this came to be you might wonder? Its the Halloween event.. There i said it, honestly i believe majority of your player base would agree with me that you have managed to turn something exciting as Halloween into a disappointment.
Why do i feel this way?
a) There is a very minor blood points benefit from running the event offerings.
b) There is no event currency, so nothing to look forward to!
c) The tome cosmetics have a lazy design and are not worth the purchase or the grind.
Honestly i just convinced a friend of mine to buy the game and hyped up the Halloween even based on how good of an experience it was for me last year, dont get me wrong i know there were issues with it and it was a massive grind but at least i felt we took something away from it. This year i just feel we have been let down in an bad attempt to ramp up some money.
Please use this event as an experience, in the long run it will pay off to be loyal to your fan base and offer more incentives to play. I honestly believe the tome is a good idea as well and would happily support the game by buying it if you put in the effort to make it worth it.
