Game Health Chapter

This was something that Rainbow Six Seige did a couple of years ago. With all the new content they had added, they needed time to play around and review what was already in the game.

I know that the point of the Mid-Chapter updates is to focus on game health, but I really think that DbD could benefit from having an entire 3 month block, to just focus on general game balancing. Particularly perks, items and offerings.

If you were desperate to release SOME new content during that time, then why not stick with the theme and do cosmetics for Doctor/Nurse and survivors with teachables related to healing (Claudette for example).

There is sooooooooo much in the game now, that understandably, as perks/new characters are added, other things fall to the wayside until the Mid-Chapter update. With each patch comes new bugs. Take time to stress test the game and changes. Listen to the community! You got an overwhelming amount of feedback from the 4.3.0 PTB, but after all that was provided, it honestly feels like it just fell on deaf ears. The Mid-Chapter patch went live with little to no adjustments after hearing the concerns of the community regarding certain perks.

If you want to make more money from this game, then its health needs to be supported. Try looking at it this way: Each chapter at the moment (NR or Mid), is a band-aid fix for something that needs surgery. We aren't asking you to gut the entire game, just fix what is broken. Perks, killers, items, offerings need to be adjusted/reworked for game balancing and at the same time, old bugs and subsequent bugs from the adjustments need to be addressed.

I think most of us would love for them to fix them game, but I think the higher ups at BHVR only think about that money, and they have already said in the past that "they don't need to" so we will probably never see one sadly enough.

Yeah, bug fixes and patches don't bring money like new chapters and costumes.

Never played Rainbow Six Siege, but what was it like having a health-only chapter? Did the whole experience feel better afterward? Asking for a friend.

It did in my opinion. Didn't feel like I was missing out on content, it really just made sense to have a health chapter. I believe at that point in time they had added 10-12 new operators? So introducing new guns, abilities and other mecanics, it made sense that they took some time off to revisit everything overall and adjust the balence on certain things accordingly.

With the next two chapter(can't remember what they're called) releases, they added an extra operater (so three operators in total x two), to make up for the fact that they didn't release any new content. They didn't need to, but it was cool that they did.
