Problems Joining SWF Lobby on Same Network

My husband and I each have our own Xbox and we play this game together multiple times a week.
After the new patch, it won’t let us join each other’s lobbies.
Let me add, briefly, that A) we just moved and had to get new ISP (but didn’t have this issue the couple days leading up to the update) and B) Xbox had a new firmware update around the same time as the game update. I cannot rule out whether that is the issue instead. But either way, I’m posting in hopes to narrow things down to figure out the source of the problem.
