Is Freddy fun to play?

I see so many when I play survivor and never quite enjoyed going against them, but I am genuinely wondering if Freddy is fun to play as when you're the Killer.

It's just a killer that you can play while turning your brain off and still 3-4k most games; I assume plenty of people just play him to chill, tbh. That's how I did in the past.
