Shouldn't autodiact work with self care

As the title suggests, in autodiact it states it doesn't work with med-kits, however self-care isn't a med-kits the gameplay functions as the following. You can either use a med-kit or self-care.

It was made to not work with self-care, though the text doesn't make this clear. When it worked with self-care, it was far too strong and annoying. It needs buffs, but working with self-care leads to ridiculous results.
