Immunity to flashlight blinding during ballet break
Please. If the devs are trying to steer away from "synergy" please make a fix for this. It's boring, im stuck in animation and cant look away and your rewarding players for it.

You're aware you're still able to use your other senses to track survivors than just sight right? You can hear a survivor, provided sounds work, run away from you, or towards you, quite easily. And you'll be able to hear them breathe.

Theres also Lightborn.

Feel like the bigger one is being able to be flashlight blinded after locker grabs. Theres no way to face a different direction while opening a locker to avoid a flashlight. Watched a youtube video recently where 2 guys basicly avoided running from the killer entirely by simply jumping in lockers located next to each other anytime the killer came close. When the killer grabbed one of them, the other would jump out of their locker to get a flashlight save and theyd both jump back in. Theres no outplaying this apart from waiting til their batteries finally run out, in which case NOW they actually have to participate in a chase with you.

Maybe fake the pallet break when going after someone with a flashlight? That's what I do. Stand at the pallet like im gonna break it and look at the ground till they give up trying to blind. Sometimes they waste a bunch flashlight before they figure it out

That's only 1 of 2 possible times for survivors to even use a flashlight to blind a killer. What do you want them to do, blind you mid chase so they can get downed in 2 seconds?

Give hag or spirit a shot, they can't be blinded during pallet break animation.
On a more serious note, pallet blinds are generally useless and help the killer to decrease distance gap. Listen or take a guess where they are heading and follow them while blind. As long as you don't go for random lunges, you should be fine.

So just a question. When I'm supposed to blind the killer if I can't do it when they are stuck in an animation? Maybe you'd like the insta blind flashlights back, then you can have your blind immunity during animations.

I mean blinding you during a pallet break animation is almost always counterproductive. Instead of gaining distance they're standing there like a dingus to make you unable to see them for like 2 seconds. Presuming the sounds are working properly (a big ask for DBD I know) you can just chase them normally even while blinded.

To be fair, blinding at a pallet is worth 400 Boldness points so if you play for highest score it’s probably worth it, even though it slightly increases the risk in a chase since you’re not running away. If you don’t care about score though then flashlights are pretty much a waste of a slot in general, you’re better off carrying a medkit or toolkit or key or map.

Noooo I love when survivors do this actually. They gain no distance and my vision is back once the pallet is broken. Makes for a much faster hit in my experience

Strangely enough, I've actually found immediate lunging as soon as the pallet breaks to be pretty effective.
Most survivors don't immediately move once they hit the blind so you can tag them if you lunge right away. Some also try to get cute with their blindings and will instead run at the killer in the hopes that the killer blindly runs forward (and therefore right by the survivor).
So personally, I always lunge immediately and then just walk forward blind if I don't hit anyone. I've found that a good 80% of the time I either tag the survivor with a hit or I'm right on their ass still as many survivors just run like normal after a blinding.

Who said the devs are moving away from "synergy"?
If they are, I need to update my opinion on their design.
