Add an Option: 100% more Blood points for getting matched with SWF (if there are any, otherwise you get into a regular game with no bonus)

Killers who are up to the challenge can use this option while killers who don't... Don't

is it easy as that, or am I missing something?

As nice as the bribe sounds, I don't want Scooby Snacks to take on a chore. I just want a level playing field. I'd rather they unlock a 5th Perk Slot for a SWF with (3) Member joining together, and a 6th Perk Slot for a SWF with (4). Effectively, every member of a SWF has access to all the information Perks of every other Member. They can also coordinate so they don't overlap. Granting additional Perk Slots to the Killer seems second most balanced way to address it.

The most balanced method would be breaking Solo and Team into two different Ques so the Perks can be set so they don't strangle Solo, AND give the Killers the extra Perk slots against the Teams.

id much rather slower repair and healing times depending on the swf size, i play this game for fun and sadly the group of swf that all run meta and can play the game well can take alot of the fun out of the game (this is usually the toxic clicker though) but BP has no use to me so it wouldnt make it worth it in my eyes

I see no problem with it and unlike mechanical debuffs of any kind it seems like something there's at least a non-zero probability of actually happening, so that's a nice start.

i only say it because swf gains the com advantage and the choice of their team/perks so even a small % debuff to those actions would just balance the game out more, while the BP idea is nice there are alot of people out there that dont care massively about BP or are like me and own everything already.

Exactly. I'd rather have an extra 1-2 Perks unlocked when I'm facing to the SWF to balance out what they are getting. I don't need BP. :)

I say give the killer a weak buddy who assists him. I call it The Imp. It can’t down survivors, but can harass them in other ways and has in-game comms with the killer

It’s a real player who can be invited (or be a random player) so that the killer role can finally have a social aspect. Any time the killer chooses to play with an Imp assistant, matchmaking should prioritize SWF teams to verse against. (This also means solo survivors will more often be grouped against solo killers, and therefore will benefit from having fewer SWFs on their teams.)

You can't have an opt out selection because then, no-one would play against pre-made teams...leaving the majority of the game's player base unable to play unless they split up and play solo. You can't punish people for playing with their friends.

However, adding a feature where the game recognises that the killer is facing a SWF lobby, and automatically applies a bloodpoint bonus to said killer would be great...that way, if the match is stressful and perhaps "unwinnable", it wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Nobody is getting punished when the killer WANTS to play against SWF, the ONLY one getting punished right now by SWF is "average-Joe KILLER" who just wants to have a nice match

My point is, is that you can't make facing a SWF team a selective option without it absolutely affecting the entirety of the player base, and making matchmaking even worse than it is and has been for so long.

Not every SWF is a death squad, and "Average-Joe" over here most likely doesn't see a top % team every other match...but still needs a change of pants when he faces a challenge. A nice match just screams an easy match to me. Everyone wants a nice match.

Again, this is why you need to sweeten the deal for killers who choose to face SWF. Bloodpoints aren’t adequate, but a more level playing field is. Let the killer choose to have a teammate (the Imp, as mentioned above) with the knowledge that this selection will pit him against SWF.

It’s more social and a powerful disruptor to coordinated teams, which makes the match more fun and less sweaty. This is a great incentive to verse SWFs!

Considering the game doesn't have inbuilt VOIP I will consider it an unintended feature that the devs havent balanced the game around well.

I do agree that the SWF base would be decimated if killers have the option for obvious reasons - the game isnt the same when killers are abused by poor dev design. If you want to play SWF and have the opportunity to use 3rd party VOIP then SWF should all suffer from the blindness effect for the entirety of the match with limitations on some perks. Also killers in lobby should be made aware of who is group with who so that they can plan the match accordingly.

Balancing this game doesnt require drastic changes, it needs logical changes and I wish this community advocated for this more than band aid fixes like game breaking perks and whatnot.
