Build system with Choice cost.
Before leaving for good i wanted to bring an idea that could benefit on aiding with the balance of the game.
For some reason i believe devs could be having a hard time balancing all this possible combinations of the build system.
If that is the case, wouldn't DBD benefit from a "Build Cost"?
Let me elaborate.
Let's say you can't have a higher Build Cost than 100. Equipping Perks, Items, Addons and Offerings add to the Build Cost:
- Perks like Undying, DS, Ruin, UB have a cost of 30 (high cost).
- Items like Moris and Keys have a cost of 30 (high cost).
- Not so used perks like Spies from the shadows or Aftercare have a cost 10 (low cost).
This way players would have to tradeoff for builds and devs should have an easier time balancing. It also should make a spot for low used perks as "remaining Build Cost fillers".
Some extra work on finding the right numbers for the Build Costs will have to be made but maybe would be for the better.
