PC - After Closing DbD it still run's in the background

Step 1 : Start the game
Step 2 : Play as survivor with friends (1h)
Step 3 : Leave the Party
Step 4 : Leave the Game
Step 5 : Try to Start DbD again (--> error)
Step 6 : Try to Kill the process of the DeadByDaylight-Win64-Shipping.exe via Taskmanager --> not possible
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Frequency of the issue: This happening every time I close the game after longer session ~1-2h
- Before I left the game I had the issue that the new level didn't got processed (see attached image)
