We need more ambient sounds
I know most of y'all will probably laugh at me for saying that this is a horror game, but it IS.
How come we don't have scary sounds in the background when we are playing the game? For example, can we get scary sounds when we repair gens or something? Maybe when we are walking alone, make it so we hear crows. (the only times we hear "scary" sounds are when we are on a hook)
Of course, these sounds would only be heard by survivors and not killers.

They used to have it a long time ago in early stages of DBD I am unsure why they removed it in the first place

This game actually had alot more atmosphere in the early years like 2016, 17, and first hqalf of 18. There were alot of ambience sounds like crows, wind, wolf howling, etc and the ambience and chase music was really quiet. Footsteps and breathing, and generally subtle sounds were alot more audible too.
But over the years they reversed all that. Shot up the volume of ambience and chase music, got rid of crows, wolfs, added an incredible oppressive sound occlusion system that basically muffles1 everything that is outsiden your FOV.

That is so stupid by them. Sounds are really important for a horror game and games in general. You would really feel paranoid a lot more often if you heard creepy sounds.

there should be more ambient sounds because this is a horror game or meant to be.

the chase music is a big problem.

I meant sounds when survivors isn't in chase.

I'm still wondering myself why they removed it, it would have suited the game!

Please no. They already break the sound every few months to terrifying effect, Survivors ending up making no noise at all nor footsteps, chase music ranging from being "too quiet" (Killers can actually hear things) to "too loud"(Killers can't hear anything but chase music).
Giving them more sounds to maintain will just make more things break.
