I was playing with a friend, and got an error in lobby 2 times in a row, so I restarted the game. When I logged in, got a rank reset (already got the rank reset on 13). I was rank 1 survivor and rank 4 or 5 killer (don't remember if I have played killer this season yet), got rank 5 survivor and rank 9 killer after logging in. I don't remember well if I have lost an account level or not (I think I lost 1 level but I'm not sure) but I have the last survivor I leveled just fine.
Playing on PC Steam.
