Let one of the next experiments please be 'hometurf' matches
As in, you will know by the map which killer you are facing. Granted, this could only be done once GF and Blight and the Twins get their own maps, but after that...
It'd be interesting to see if it has any impact on the killer stats.

The only Killers that have their own map as one of their best are Deathslinger, Pyramid Head and Pig.
Everyone else is average or below average on their own map.

Welp, I definietly wouldn't want to play legion during that experiment

It could be an interesting idea for awhile. Poor Wraith though. InViSiBlE KiLlEr btw. Autohaven Maps are really bad for him, just because they're so open.
But for that to happen that would mean those killers would have to get maps, which I don't even know if that would ever happen. I would love to see a Blight themed map though.

That would be boring as hell, why would a killer who has a main want to play one the same map over and over again?

I wouldnt play Nurse because ######### the Disturbed Ward over and over and over :)

FIrst of all, back in the days you used to know which Killer you will face, because they used different Hooks for each Killer. There was a reason why this was removed.
Second, it is pretty boring IMO. Like, when you dont know who the Killer is, you have to be aware to not get grabbed by some Stealth-Killer, dont feed a Michael or be exposed by a Ghostface. But if you start on MacMillan, you will know it is a Trapper.
Third, I main Pig. I dont want to play on The Game every time. One of the most boring Maps to play on.

Eh, seeing how a lot of survivors unfortunately try to employ the ever same tactics regardless of the killer, I'd rather think it wouldn't make much a difference.
The main idea behind the suggestion is to see if there's a change in kill-rate on maps designed around the killer in question, or if that stays the same.
Of course, this could only happen after the map overhaul and potential maps for hitherto map-less killers

If this kind of experiment happened, I'd just be playing Clown until it ended, because Father Campbell's Chapel is a right banger of a map.

This sounds extremely arbitrary to me. Like, what is the goal here beyond curiosity's sake?

Many maps (or at least newer/new-ish ones) are build around the killer they came with. I think it started around Michael/Hag.
By checking if killers fare generally better on maps tailored to them or not it could make it easier to see how to better rework maps. What to add, what to remove entirely, where to put breakable walls (if any) and totem spawns.
They are apparently doing something similar already (with certain maps having a much higher chance to be picked), and I'd say this could provide additional helpful data

How would it give them better info on how to rework maps? Such an experiment would only give devs information on how one Killer fares in a very specific map. How would a dev know how to adjust loops and whatnot in The Game, for example, if they only have information from how the Pig plays there? That seems like it is actively limiting the information the devs are getting on map balance for no actual benefit.

who would think this was good idea?
