Cant open Hatch on Haddonfield

The hatch spawned in a house right next to the (two man) gen I completed. I had the skeleton key with addons where I will not lose the key if I die or if i use the Key.
I had the challenge from the rchive where I have to escape trough the hatch.
I had a short animation but nothing happens.
I tried it a few times.
The Killer saw that too, sadly, I have no video.
